Dorothy disappointing but still a good show.

I was dissapointed in Dorthy's performance. She was a little screechy and had a limited range. I was so looking forward to hearing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". She did not do the song justice. The dance numbers and ensembles were nicely done. The Jitterbug scene was lively and fun! The special effects for the tornado were amazing. I especially loved totto. The scarecrow,tinman, and lion were nicely cast. Overall, the show did not reach my expectations due to the casting of Dorothy. I expected a better performance. Our family is very musically inclined so this bothered us. Maybe if I had not bought the higher price tickets I wouldn't be so dissapointed. I think most people would enjoy this show.
